Porsche's timeless Speedster was everything Max Hoffman, then USA distributor for Porsche, envisioned in a car literally made for American sports car racing.
This car was delivered in July 1957 and was one of 1,171 built that year, finished in the original colour combination of Silver Metallic '5706' with red leather sport seats.
Weber carburettors and a sports exhaust increase the engine performance and the upgraded disc brakes give increased confidence and a shorter stopping distance. Weather equipment includes a high bow Haartz cloth top with side curtains and a full tonneau cover with half-zip for touring or open storage.
