911 (930) Turbo Targa for sale
The 911 (930) was produced by Porsche between 1975 and 1989, and the Turbo was the absolute top of the range.
The distinctive 'whale tail' rear spoiler has a dual purpose - venting more air to cool the engine and providing more downforce. In combination with the distinctive flared rear wheel arches and wider rear wheels, grip and stability was greatly enhanced, allowing the 930 Turbo to put the offered (after 1978) 300bhp to good use.
It also created the iconic 911 Turbo 'look', which has remained in subtly altering forms to this day.
This exceptional 1988 911 Turbo Targa has a 4-speed manual gearbox and is presented in Grand Prix White with red leather seats piped in white.
Standard features include air conditioning, central locking, a CD player, rear wiper, headlamp wash system and 16" Fuchs wheels. This example also offers heated sports seats.
The Targa system offers 'the best of both worlds' as the centre section of the roof is removable (and can be stored under the bonnet) - offering the feel of a convertible when the weather is fine.
