Porsche Boxster RS60 Spyder for sale
This Boxster RS60 Spyder has the 6-speed manual gearbox and is presented in GT Silver with red leather seats and a red power hood.
There were 1960 built to commemorate the 1960 12 Hours of Sebring win by the silver Porsche Type 718 RS 60 Spyder driven by Hans Herrmann and Olivier Gendebien. This win helped cement a reputation as 'giant killers' for Porsche who began to consistently beat larger and more powerful opposition. This is No.300 of the 1960 built.
The upgraded 3.4 Litre flat six engine develops 303 bhp and standard features include sports seats, body coloured seat backs, centre console and roll over bar, 19" sport design wheels with 5mm wheel spacers, an onboard computer, red tail lights, wind deflector, silver dials, a switchable sports exhaust, full leather interior, stainless steel door entry guards, the rear badge finished in chrome, a gloss black windscreen surround, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) & Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and an aluminium look gear knob.
The RS60 also has the binnacle removed from the top of the instrument cluster.
Factory-fitted options include rear park assist, satellite navigation and BOSE sound system. It has driven just 34,200 miles from new in 2008.
