    This Boxster S Black Edition has the 6-speed manual gearbox, and is presented (unsurprisingly) in Jet Black with black leather seats and a black power hood. 

    The Black Edition is limited to 987 cars of which this is No.401 as shown on the glovebox plaque. It has the badge, roll over bar, side air vents, tail pipes and interior trim finished in gloss black.

    The 3.4 litre direct fuel injection engine develops an uprated 316 bhp and standard features include air conditioning, a BOSE sound system, heated seats, Black Edition stainless steel door entry guards, 'Black Edition' text embossed into the hood material, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) & Porsche Stability Management (PSM), a wind deflector, touchscreen satellite navigation, lightweight 19" Spyder wheels, sport design steering wheel, embossed crested headrests and Sport Chrono Pack Plus. 

    Factory fitted options include Bi-Xenon headlights, cruise control, Bluetooth phone preparation, rear park assist and an iPod/USB interface.
