Careful Selection
We ensure that only those Porsche with a comprehensive history that have been major accident free will be considered. Each car is appraised either by Mark Sumpter or Jamie Tyler who have forty years Porsche experience between them.
History & Detail Checks
As part of our initial inspection we check the chassis number and VIN plate. Each car is HPI and national mileage register checked for any discrepancies. We also check the service book schedules, MOT's and supporting paperwork..
Specialist Computer Analysis
There's only so much you can discover from a surface analysis and test drive - we use the most modern and comprehensive computer diagnostic systems to give us a full picture of each Porsche we consider.
Condition Analysis & Assessment
Our physical analysis includes checking the chassis and inner wings for evidence of repair, we get 'right under the skin' of each Porsche - years of experience mean that we know exactly how things should be for each Porsche model and variant.
Tyre Wear & Condition Checks
A vital component - we check wear, condition and tread depth at this early stage analysis.
Expert Test Drive
Our years of driving, selling, servicing and repairing all types of Porsche give us a keen insight into what makes a good example. A thorough test drive alerts us to any potential issues that may warrant further investigation.
Technical Inspection
After a vehicle has passed our stringent pre-purchase criteria and has been purchased, it is then handed over to one of our in house Porsche technicians to start its comprehensive mechanical inspection.
Brake Pad & Disk Measurement
Here, the brake pads and disks are checked for condition and wear using a micrometer and replaced if necessary.
Brake Disk Run Out Check
If brake discs are above the recommended thickness tolerance, they are then checked for run out (the cause of brake judder) using a dial gauge and replaced if necessary.
Tyre Condition Rechecks
Now the wheels are off, the technical team recheck in detail the tyre condition and wear profile on the inner and outer surfaces.
Suspension Checks
At this stage we check suspension joints, bushes and shock absorbers to ensure everything is as it should be. Any issues are immediately rectified.
