Victory for Paragon sponsored Billy Monger
Billy Monger took his maiden victory in a predictably close-fought Ginetta Junior Championship opener around the tight and twisty Brands Hatch Indy circuit.
“I’m over the moon,” said Billy. “It was a tough race from the start. I managed to get through to second at the start and after that, I couldn’t break away with the tow, so I had to defend for my life. I’ve come out on top and it’s a great way to start the season.

Paragon/Baylis & Harding 1965 2.0 litre 911 at the NEC Classic Car Show
Porsche Club Great Britain had a strong showing at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show at the NEC in Birmingham on 14th-16th November 2014.
A selection of classic Porsche were featured including the Paragon/Baylis & Harding 1965 2.0 litre 911 which was an obvious hit judging by the response on social media. The beautiful restoration and 'in period' graphics meant there was always a crowd around it - even with so much competition at the show!

Paragon 356 Speedster in Classic Porsche Magazine
Steve Wright from Classic Porsche magazine had the enviable task of a spin out into the Sussex countryside in our classic 1957 356 Speedster.
Driving down to Goodwood, it's obvious that this restoration by Jim Shoh is as close to perfect as it's possible to get, and the car handles the road condiitions and stays watertight in some very grotty weather at the end of the day.

Sussex Region Porsche Club Visit Paragon
As usual it was Jamie's legendary bacon rolls, fresh orange juice, coffee and biscuits all round, and some mutual admiration of both owners and Paragon cars.
The highlight for them was undoubtedly the red 356 A Speedster which attracted a lot of admiration.

Derek Bell will return to compete alongside Paragon's Mark Sumpter in the Group C Historic support race which takes place ahead of the main Le Mans 24 hours race at the iconic French circuit in June.

The 356 Register Annual Spring Drive
Mark Sumpter joined the local members of the 356 Register on the 14th May for their annual Spring Drive, taking these beautiful original Porsche around the country roads and lanes in what turned out to be glorious sunshine.

The 14-year-old made the step up from karting to the Ginetta Junior Championship for 2014, and had the new livery proudly on display for the first time at Donington Park over the Easter weekend.

Brenda Sumpter Retires
After more years than she would probably care to remember (it's over 20) Brenda has finally decided to retire and enjoy more time with her husband Colin, who has recenly retired from Eagle E-Types as well.
There was a fine send off in the showroom on Thursday 10th April where staff, friends and customers enjoyed a bite to eat and a drink or two.

A Dream Realised

Charity Race Day at Snetterton
On Sunday the 18th of November we supported the Charity Race day at Snetterton race circuit near Norwich with Mark Sumpter spending the day taking passengers for 'hot laps' in our Porsche 911 race car helping to raise £40,795!

Spa Six Hour Classic Endurance Race
Lee Maxted-Page and Mark Sumpter raced Lee's historic 1964 Porsche 901. After qualifying well Lee Maxted-Page and Mark Sumpter knew that they had a very good chance of a class podium.
