This 911 GT3 (996) has the 6-speed manual gearbox and is presented in Arctic Silver with black leather bucket seats.

The 'GT3' designation was introduced in this year (1999) to denote racing-focused models where excess weight had been removed including sound deadening, rear seats, rear speakers and the sunroof. Typically air-conditioning and the CD player were also absent, but have been 'optioned in' with this beautiful example. They also feature the 360 bhp 'Mezger' engine based on the one used for the Porsche 962 and 911 GT1 race cars. 

The GT3 also features enlarged brakes, a lowered, re-tuned suspension system, lighter wheels and a new front bumper and rear spoiler to help increase downforce. Standard features include 18" GT3 split rim wheels, electric windows and a 3-spoke sports steering wheel.

Factory-fitted options with this example include black leather bucket seats with crested headrests, a body coloured centre console, a Porsche CDR-22 CD player, Guards Red seats belts, 'aluminium look' handbrake & gear knob, air conditioning and its been fitted with a stainless steel Porsche Tequipment rear roll cage.
