Porsche 911 (997) GT2RS for sale
The 911 (997) GT2RS is the fastest, most powerful road-going manual Porsche ever built. Weight saving is key with the significant use of carbon fibre throughout and the power delivery is thrilling as are the exceptional driving dynamics. The GT2RS offers a 0-60 mph time of just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 205mph.
Tyres were specifically developed for the 911 GT2RS and measured 245/35/19 at the front & 325/30/19 at the rear. Exceptional cornering is ensured by the set up of the springs, Porsche Active Suspension Management, unique anti-roll bars, specific engine mounts and re-calibrated Porsche Stability Management alied to a rear suspension that was tweaked further than the GT3RS.
The 911 GT2RS has a unique look from the use of carbon fibre re-inforced components in matt finish, wider wheels with flared front wheel arches, new lightweight centre lock alloy wheels, 10mm taller rear spoiler lip also in matt carbon fibre which both enhances aerodynamics and provides extra downforce. The interior is classic Porsche RS with lightweight carbon bucket seats with alcantara inserts, lightweight door cards with fabric door straps rather than traditional door handles, steering wheel, gearknob & handbrake lever finished in alcantara. With just 500 cars built worldwide this makes it the rarest of the modern era RS's.
This left hand drive 911 GT2RS (997) is presented in Jet Black with black half leather bucket seats. The 3.6 litre flat six Mezger engine develops 612 bhp and features include 19" Centre lock wheels finished in gloss black, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, climate control, carbon bonnet, mirror caps & side vents, carbon door entry guards, a rear roll cage, the Porsche Sound Pack Plus, Schroth harnesses, Porsche Active Suspension Management, stability control & traction control, cruise control, Bi-Xenon headlights an onboard computer and a Porsche CDR-30 CD player.
